He is going to have to be careful not to destroy her too bad so that people don't sympathize with her.

  1. You don't know a flipin' thing about her. Are you from Alaska?

  2. it's going to be tough

he might come across as a jerk

  3. So Biden will expose what.....her "inexperience"....?

Will Biden, who's the deepest "insider" on either ticket, be able to be the point-man for "change"....?

Will he fall back on his many unsuccessful runs at the Presidency to completely diminish Palin's mere two years in an executive position when his own running mate has less?

Will he try to expose her ties to Big Oil and Lobbyists when his own state shelters so many banks and credit card companies with "sweetheart" deals....?  And let's not forget about Joe's son....the Lobbyist.

Will Biden say how Palin will continue George Bush's legacy...when he, for eight years, he was so ineffective at opposing Bush...?

I realize that your candidacy has been built on hypotheticals as wishful thinking....but honestly, it sounds like you're just trying to make yourself feel better.  Maybe you can replay some clips from the "show" in Denver...

  4. From what I have heard she is a very excellent debater. McCain is going to own Obama like he and Hillary have all ready proven.

  5. Pretty bad, just isn't any way she's going to get up to speed

  6. I think you have it backwards.  She is a communications and journalism major and not bad to look at either.  Biden on the other hand, is known for his rants and for putting his foot in his mouth.  A timed debate where you have to give short to the point responses, especially in front of cameras, would very much favor her!

  7. Im not American, but I heard Palin is chosen to get the hearts of Clintons supporters.

    By Im going for Biden.

  8. Good Point. Its funny though, even the "great debaters" couldn't fight for the positions McCain and Palin are holding.....

  9. Precisely. In terms of ability, experience, and everything else, putting Palin up against Biden is like asking a gerbil to fight a Doberman.

The GOP knows this. They are counting on the fact that Biden will have to take it easy so he doesn't appear to be "bullying a woman."

The very fact that the right wing is resorting to such tactics shows how much contempt they actually have for women. If they really respected women, they'd assume she has to meet  Biden on equal terms and take her chances--not rely on  her s*x as a way to deflect hard questions and criticism.

  10. Biden isn't really the best debater or speech giver. He's kind of a motor mouth and gets off track easily. I'm sure he'll be a challenge, though. Biden has been in politics long enough to be able to justify his opinions. I have confidence in Sarah Palin, as well. She's very articulate, and I base on that on the many interviews she's given in recent months. I think her biggest obstacle will be simply mastering national and international issues. Even though she has experience with that as Governor of Alaska, she just isn't required to speak on the Iraq War or trade relations. So, I'm looking forward to the debate.

  11. The real question is, can Biden avoid saying something retarded? He has a long history of sticking his foot in his mouth.

  12. If Biden will use his own words and give citation when he uses others, he is going to be a formidible opponent

  13. Advantage goes to Palin.

  14. He can start buying BP Oil stock!

  15. He won't OWN her at all.

Governor Palin will have a legitimate answer to any illegitimate question that Biden will throw at her.

Why can't you liberal Dems get past the fact that the election is in the bag for Senator McCain.

Why do you keep insisting that a junior senator with NO executive experience is more qualified to run our country than a Governor with plenty of executive experience.

  16. You are assuming that people think whining and blaming is a win-win.  People are bored with it already.

  17. As badly as Biden owned Obama.

  18. I think Biden will have to play it carefully and let Palin get stuck on an info point.  But if she goes on the attack it could get ugly fast.  He can own her on foreign policy.  I'm expecting she is going to lose points because she will say what she actually believes.  McCain had to go with a Right to Life running mate and she is going to bring that on the table during the debates. Not something that will swing the moderates.
