it's not like duncan needs a cane to walk or anything. the spurs are still going to be a great team.

They probably will continue to slip in the standings. New Orleans is making an effort to contend and I can see them surpassing the Spurs with Posey as a defensive stopper. The Lakers and the Jazz are already better and the Rockets could pass them by only if they can stay healthy throughout the year.

Their window to win another title could be closing and their senior line-up doesn't really scare anyone anymore right now. Ginobili won't be as much of a factor anymore, being that the league changed the rules on flopping recently.

it's the experience that matters.. it doesnt matter wheter you're above 30 or below 30 as long as their chemistry in a team.. lakers will take it next season.

The Spurs will be good with the team they have for a couple more seasons.Ime Udoka can be really good also.

As for next year, they should still be in the playoffs and be a contender in the west.  The biggest acquisition they've gotten so far was Roger Mason from the Washington Wizards where he will bring his three point marksmanship, and also his solid defense on both point and shooting guards.  He'll be 28 when the season starts.

They should still be pretty good next year. But as the years progress and their key players begin to suck, they won't be much of a team.

Next year they won't be as bad as year after. They are going to keep getting worse. It's like the opposite of the Blazers.
