How bad will the war against Iran be?

It'll be bad. However, I say it'll last for 3-4 years. Once the people of Iran revolt, it'll be free. Iraq & Iran free of dictators in 5-6 years. That'd be interesting. What do you guys think.

  1. Not as bad as the Olympic.

  2. I think China and Russia have said "US better NOT touch Iran."

As ridiculous as our leaders are, and as much as they want to attack, they can't.  It's not allowed.

If Israel wants to attack, go right ahead.  The US will sit this one out tyvm.  What's the best way to get a dog to stop chasing cars?  Let him catch one!

  3. I truly believe that the chances of going to war with Iran will greatly diminish once we have a new President in office, whichever man wins. If Bush had really wanted a war there he would have had one by now.

If, however, I happen to wrong and we do invade Iran, it will not be an easy fight. The Iranian government has had plenty of time to make preparations for any possible U.S. invasion, and will not fold up in front of a U.S. force like the Iraqis did.

In addition, I believe that the United States would have virtually no allies in such a war, and could easily find itself having to fight the entire region if it for some stupid reason invaded Iran. I don't see either potential President being willing to risk such a scenario, so I stand behind my original assertion that the U.S. will not go to war against Iran.

  4. Good question as this type of thing is my background. Israel will attack Iran first and should be able to knock out their communication centers, nuclear construction sites, their runways and their chemical facilities by themselves. The US is in a beautiful pincer position in that we have tremendous forces and military hardware on both sides of Iran; ie......Iraq and Afghanistan. We will lend support of all sorts. The total annihilation of Iran's forces will be finished for all intensive purposes within the first 10 days. Everything else will be mop up and reorganization. We will have occupation within Iran for the next 10 years no different than what we have in Iraq which was another war we won within 10 days which people seem to forget. The mideast will experience peace like no other time in the past 100 years. However, the Iranians do have the proper torpedo's and anti-naval missiles which will most likely take out a few of our naval forces, maybe a carrier or two, however, outside of this, it will be rather quick and now is the opportune time to take care of business on the Iranians.

  5. Looks  like  they  have  to  re-think  the  whole  thing.  If  the  world  is  so  'united'  Iran,  Iraq,  Syria,  Labanon,  Russia,  China,  Cuba,  some  African  countries  and  South American  countries  could  take  on  the  US  and  win.

  6. The war will be like the war in Iraq. It'll be a bloody one sided conflict. The actual warfaring will probably be over in less than six months.

With an islamic mentality too stupid to accept or understand defeat, someone will probably have to drop a nuke on Tehran in order to get the message through.

Just as in Iraq, the different factions will fight amongst each other for power. The instability will last for decades. The US will get the blame for the stupid needless violence even if they will be the only sane and stable power controlling the place.

The nitwits that don't try to read the news will decry the war as being about oil and oil piplines.

    Same shiite, different pile.

  7. Depends - Are we going to fight it like a war or just throw our soldiers at them like bullet sponges?

If it is fought like a war - blast it into the sand and make a huge glass bowl then pour billions in to reconstruction like we did Japan

The other way we will have numerous causalities , bombers and suicidal idiots running around and years in the God forsaken place.

  8. It will be a war of major death and devastation.  Ultimately they may be free but will never be a true democracy, the theocracy will never allow that to be.
