How badly could India have been defeated if Malinga had played??

Seriously.. With this Medis buzz, everyone seems to have forgotten Lasith Malinga... I feel it's India's luck that Malinga is still injured and away from cricket.. How bad it could have been for India if he'd played in this test?? How will it affect India if he'll play in the ODI series?? I think India are in for serious trouble....

india played pace with ease suprisingly but fell to spin which  they supposedly played best. Only laxman and gambhir shoned.

indians only know how to thief ,we r the 7 th largest country in world  and the only sports we promote or play is cricket 24/7 and in that also we lose to srilanks ,, the country who was given birth by indians ...srlianks cricket came into light only in 1992 benson and hedges world cup in australia ..look how the srilanks  play  their cricketrs havent been paid from last february from the srilanka board and llok at us we r paid so heavly in adverisemnt and lots of other sources ...and llok at that stinky result we cant even beat the country who dosent have proper cricket facilites ....

Malinga is not a great bowler. He did not play test cricket for 2 years. In 2007, he played 9 ODIs and captured 11 wickets. Nothing great. If he plays, advantage shifts to India.

It would've been preety tough. But even if he was fit enough to play this test match, i don't think he would play to well. After an injury your always a bit rusty.

Yeah... Indians lost by an inning. If Malinga played, Indians wouldn't score more than 100 in their second innings.

It is clear that Sri Lanka is a better team than India because if Sri Lankans played in India they won't be defeated like this with a huge margin by any chance (of course they will defeat Indians in India).

Malinga would have been another threatening  addition to Sri Lanka squad,. if he did India could have suffered much more

Yep i agree with you..If Murali and Mendis can thrash India by an innings and a few hundred runs i think if Malinga was playing they would have not even reached 100..(for both innings that is)...

Malinga would have been a welcome addition to the squad and would have made some inroads up the order with the new ball ...
