How badly does a complete brazilian wax hurt?

i have an appointment tomorrow to get my first complete brazilian wax (its getting rid of EVERYTHING down there!) i'm just sick of razor burn and having to shave all the time. how much does it hurt? i know it depends on the person's pain tolerance, but just wondering what i should expect. should i take something before or do anything to ease the pain? thanks!

Very badly the first few times...take a motrin ahead of time.

everyone is different.

no need for pain killerz. it only lasts a few minutes.

it will hurt. grit those teeth. when they pull that tape take a deep breath in as they pull. that will lessen the pain.

Only hurts the first time, if you go on a regular basis.

It's going to hurt like h**l, but the results are worth it!!!

My Fiance is a baby about getting his eyebrows plucked so I rub tooth numbing medicine you can get at the grocery store and it numbs it up a little, maybe try that but I'd steer clear of overly sensitive areas... that could be bad.

my wife does it

she says it's not for wimps

she goes with a friend and they have a couple of margaritas first

the only rule at the wax place is "no screaming" it upsets the other clients.
