How/ best way to pack collectible beverage cans & bottles for storage and travel?

Small glass bottles, beer-type bottles, small cans, gasket-cans, bottle cans, you name it.

Fill a box with packing peanuts, and then wrap all the bottles individually in either newpaper or bubble wrap and mail it.
