How big Terminal 3 of Heathrow Airport is?

Question

A girl I know want to depart from Heathrow Airport Terminal 3, and for some reason her ex do not want her to leave London. Assuming that he comes to Terminal 3 after her, how many chances are he can spot that girl if they are both on Terminal 3 of Heathrow Airport?

Is Terminal 3 big enough to make it hard for a lunatic to find someone trying to hide from him?

I know he cannot stop her legally, and she can call police etc. -- lets say this an option .. but still, is it possible that she keep herself hidden and depart discreetly?

if he's going to spot her then it's likely to be at check-in ... if he knows which flight she's on, all he has to do is stand by the check-in queue and wait for her to show up ... can she travel with carry-on luggage only and check-in on-line so that she doesn't have to queue up at the check-in desk?

after that if she gets herself through customs and immigration as soon as possible so that she's air-side at the airport he can't follow her (unless he also has a ticket)

As to the chances of him spotting her, a lot depends on how much he knows about her travel.  Does he know when she is leaving or what airline?  If he knows the airline and approximate time then he has a good chance of spotting her if he simply waits near that airline's check-in counter.  

Of course, if he waits around too long he will be questioned by security.  The security is very tight there.

depending on how busy it is on the day (and im guessing very busy as usual)  then i'd say there is a 25% chance of him spotting her,   but if shes watchful and looks around her to ensure hes not about she can spot him first lol.

if hes watchful himself, he might spot her first - or funnier yet, they may spot each other at exactly the same moment.

This reminds me of the Julia Roberts flick 'Sleeping with the enemy' for some reason lol.

he can't do s**t to her at the airport, security is so tight that even if he did spot her - thats all he could do, spot her.  if he tried anything stupid - security would pwn his a$$ for real.  So i'd not worry about that dude a single bit.

Its quite big,  lots of hot women cueing up at arrivals and departures heh.
