How big a tank for this turtle?

Well, I'm getting an aquatic musk turtle that grows up to be 3-4 inches; just wondering how much gallon tank I shoul buy? It's really really small, and stays small (right now, it's 2 inches).

55 gallon to keep the smell down but a ten gallon would be fine
