  1. I'm 6 foot and weigh close to 300 lbs.

I'm always comfortable in theatres, but never comfortable on airlines.

Airline seats are traditionally narrow and uncomfortable.

  2. well, from personal experience of flying coach they're only slightly bigger than seats in the movie theatre (although some movie theatres have better seats and others have really uncomfortable ones)...i always think it's so unfair to walk onto an airplane and see how nice first class is and then u have to walk further to get to your crappy seat in coach...

  3. Proudmom,

For a 40 minute flight, they are slightly smaller.

If you are flying halfway across the country, they are a lot smaller.

If you are flying all the way across, they  are very small.

If you are flying from Chicago to Hong Kong, they are unimaginable.

It is not so much the seat itself, but the leg room and elbow room that disappears. Take a book, and put yourself somewhere else, like on beach or meadow, alone.

Like the man said, it is all relative!

    Regards,

    Dan
