How big are australorps in height and how much do they cost to feed PER/WEEK?

These birds are very nice to have good egg layers the roos get 6-8 lbs and hens will get 5-7 lbs and for feed that's not bad either I buy mine a bag of scratch feed and a bag of laying pellets  twice a month about 25.00 for both but I have 15 chickens I don't know how many you have this will depend on how many you have if a few then a bag should last a couple weeks or even a month or more plus you can give them any thing  no onions or celery they don't like, you can also try local grocery store for lettuce, tomatoes ect that the store tosses out and give this as well or Any left overs from your food. The ones that I have are around 6-8 inches tall from feet to my leg some may be taller. I have 1 roo and hes awsome huge and big long tail feathers and 6 hens all with good eggs plus other breeds.

What are you feeding them?

If you have a few chooks that you keep in a garden and if you have some kitchen scraps it can cost you nothing.

Even if you have to buy feed if they are laying reasonably they will easily pay for themselves.
