How big are baby showers usually?

Like an average of how many guests. If you've had a baby shower, how many guests did you invite? I'm just curious.

Its pending on how much family & how many friends you want to invite Mine is unisex, so we sent out invites to about 52 ppl, but im sure only about 35-40 will be able to come

A baby shower is not usually huge.. just a couple of close family and friends..about 20 people seems fine to me..

Umm, I'd say just invite your friends and family. The ones you really want there. However many people that may be is fine. I think around 20 is probably the max. (Basically anything goes) The more guest, the more gifts......

I invited only less than 20.  I liked it small.   I went to one last weekend and 12 people and 3 babies were there.  You can invite as many as you like.

I'd imagine smaller than adult showers.

i have seen baby showers that are given by your dept. or "boss".

that could be 25 or more.

i have also have seen small showers given by friends or family members

that could be large or small as 5 or so.

i would do both.

every shower is different.... I had 2 baby showers, first one was just with my friends closes girls about 6 of them. Than my partners family had a shower and the family was large  - so I had over 40 people and countless gifts in one full day.. The whole living room was swap with gifts... Cause my bf had a very large family I waited to buy anything I need after the shower. Well - I didnt need anything for baby - cause I got it all ........

It's all up to you. I just sent out my invitations last week and sent about 22.

I invited about 25 people and about 15 people showed up.

I don't like huge showers. Mine were all around 15 guests. A friend of mine had over 40 people at her shower, and she hardly got to visit with anyone.

You should invite your close family and friends.  I have a big family so there were 50 people at my shower.
