  1. The Steller's sea eagle - one of the largest raptors -  The typical size range is 86.5-105 cm (34-41 inches) long and the wingspan is 203-241 cm (6.8-8 feet). On average, females weigh from 6.8 to up 9 kg (15 to up 20 lb), while males are considerably lighter with a weight range from 4.9 to 6 kg (10.8 to 13.2 lb). An unverified record exists of a huge female, who apparently gorged on salmon, having weighed 12.7 kg (28 lb).

Next comes the harpy , the North America's bald eagle, the Spanish imperial eagle of Europe, the martial eagle of Africa, Australia's wedge-tailed eagle and the Philippine eagle. ♥

  2. Golden Eagles are the biggest... North American Eagles are the biggest. They would be max weight of about 6 to 7 kgs , I believe the biggest ever found weighed 9 kgs. They have a wing span of between 150 to 240 cm's..

I care little for your Thumbs down because your an idiot. Im telling you the North American Eagle is the biggest so look it up if you dont believe me..

  3. Eagles can vary in size.

The largest is the Philippine Eagle, also known as Haribon or Haring Ibon.

The average female is about 1 meter (3.3 ft) long, weighs about 7 kg (15.5 lb), and has a wingspan of 2 meters (6.7 ft). This makes the Philippine Eagle one of the world's largest eagles, with the largest wing surface area. The Harpy Eagle and Steller's Sea Eagle are about the same size as this species.

The largest eagle in the world

....The raw data are shown on Table 1. Based on a very limited available number of specimens and selected external measurements, we have the following:....

Body length: 2.5 to 3 feet (75 to 90 centimeters)

    Wingspan: 4.9 to 6.9 feet (1.5 to 2.1 meters)

    Fun facts

    • In central Asia, golden eagles are sometimes trained for falconry. Hunters in Kazakhstan still use these eagles to catch deer and antelope.

    • The largest golden eagle on record measured 3.4 feet (103 centimeters) long, weighed 20 pounds (9 kilograms), and was 26 inches (66 centimeters) tall.

  4.     You saw an eagle eating a deer carcus. There is no eagle that can kill an adult deer, unless the deer was dying, near death, and lying down for days. In desperation a large eagle may kill a newly born fawn, roughly the size of a large Jack Rabbit, but rarely. Eagles vary in size from small hawks to the Golden or Bald eagle. So put your mind to rest, there is not an Eagle on the planet that can take down a mammal much larger than a wild rabbit.

White tail deer kill more people anually than all carnovores combined, (..Cougars, Wolves, all Bear types...etc.). Use Wild America for that stat on the leading killer of people by Wild animals. By the way it might interest you that there has never been a human killed by a wild wolf in North America !! !!!

    Best of Luck,
