How big are forklift palettes? Are they standard?

Just wondering if there is a standard size for forklift palettes and what size they are?

I'm surprised I can't find this info elsewhere, but there you go...

thats because there is no worldwide standard pallet dimension to fit all the necessary applications. In no America  

U will find mostly 48x40 but not always.

skids can be most any reasonable size,  "standard" skids are 40 by 48 or 48 by 48
