How big are high school lockers?

Question

ok im going to hs net year and ive never been inside a high school but when im wathing tv it looks like the lockers are half the size of middle shool ones and how if they are that small will i have to use locker below some one

in the high school im going to im pretty sure we get the full size ones..

but it really depends on the school

since your a freshman then yeah youll probably get a bottom one.

you could always call your school and ask, or you could ask someone you know whos in highschool.

Consider yourself lucky.  Where I go to school we don't have lockers at all.  You're just expected to carry everything around with you all day long.  It sucks.  There is no room for lockers though.   My school is tiny.  Any more than 3 people across the corridor and there is a serious jam.

it depends on the school. I'm in high school and my school goes from grade 6-12 and we have the long body length lockers but they aren't wide. we have the short ones in the locker room

Ours are about 12 inch across and about 20 up. Enough room for at least 2 bags, I could fit my gym kit and my school bag in my locker and still have enough space in it. I think it depends on the school how big the lockers are though

They are probably different in different places.

Ours were big enough to stuff a decent sized kid into tho...I know cuz I stuffed a few in em before.

Haha... In my school the lockers aren't cut in half for people. We get one full locker...

I would say it's about 2 metres high and about 30 cm across... Not that big..

at my highschol they are a nice size and they are fullsize locker no top and bottem all schools are different

Its a small section, that I've been stuck in for the last 2 years, with a column of three lockers. I can't find a picture, but IT SUCKS.  Senior year, and I get this little dumpy locker. Grrr

Anyways, every school is different.

the one at the school im going to are very narrow but with a separate shelf ontop the width of 2 lockers.

its sorta confusing to discribe..

but there are two narrow lockers next toeachother and on top are two shelf like things that are the width of both lockers. one for each locker below it

actually in my school (k-12) the lockers are bigger in the high school by like 2 inches. as an underclassmen you might have to be on the bottom.

EDIT: Well, ours were like 6 inches in junior high.

The ones in my school are long and skinny, so there are no upper and lower lockers.

they are like a little wider than a shoe box...they go from the floor to about a foot higher than me and im 5'1

ok first off, not every high school is the same. in fact.... no high school is the same.

our lockers were half sized (btw bottom ones aren't bad at all........)

but the high school closest to us had those stupid skinny middle school ones. they're so annoying. plus why do you need 5 feet to store books?

depends on the school. not every school in the country is the same with locker sizes..../
