I want to replace my rattling speakers with some new ones, but where do I measure the speaker to find the right size?

The outside edges measure approx. 12.5cm, the speaker cone itself measures about 10cm, but I dont know which size to quote when ordering new ones. They are for a 205 both front and rear if that helps.

  1. can you not take one of your old ones in when you purchase your new ones, that way you know you have a match

  2. you need to get a new system. like box, big sub, amp, the whole set up.

  3. Email me with the year make and model of the car and I will tell you. Also make sure that you state anything special about the sound system etc Bose System, JBL system, infinity system etc... or you can try going to http://www.metraonline.com/products.aspx they will tell you the exact size that you need. as well as location depth etc.. good luck DUECES!!!! wowboy05@yahoo.com

  4. you have 5 inch speakers

  5. tell them the diameter of the speaker cone and the shape of the speaker (round, oval or square) that should be enough info.but sometimes you might need to tell them the distance of the s***w holes but not nescesarry.
