How big cage do i need for 4 dwarf hamsters ?

Hi, I have 2 dwarf hamsters and they have their first litter of 5 pups. And I have a small cage, so , I want to make those plastic ones. But I don't know how big I need(please in litres or fts).

well first it depends how big the hampsters are. if the parents are about the size of a normal computer mouse, plus 5 little ones, i would say about 2 by 2.

you will need a big cage they need room to scamper about

be aware that daughters will mate with father and brothers

so soon you will have too many.

better to split them into groups or sell the babies in same s*x pairs of trios.

You need one about 2 1/2 ft long and 1 ft long. I have three dwarf hamsters and  a cage just bigger than theirs would be perfect!  Hope that helped!
