How big can a toad get?

i found this toad and its realy small how big can they regularly get?

  1. If it is a wild toad, the largest it can get varies depending on the species.  Some never grow larger than a quarter while others can get as large as a softball.

    Some exotic species of toads can get as large as a football.

    If you are planning on keeping this toad as a pet, I strongly recommend that you do not.  First off, reptiles/amphibians require a very extensive habitat.  Being cold blooded, they require a heat source.  They are also prone to mites and infections stemming from a lack of proper immune system.

    Feeding wild toads can be difficult too, since they are very susceptible to "stress."  

    If you really like reptiles/amphibians, I highly recommend that you let the toad go and find a store-bought pet.  The people there should be able to help you set up a terrarium suitable for the pet you are looking to buy.

    if you find a puppy it depends on breed how big, why would a toad be any different.
