How big do mini lop rabbits get?

Question

I want to persuade my mum to get me rabbit and my cousin said mini lops are a good breed. But i would like to know a bit more information about them and how long do they live and how big to they get? Also what to people mean by a good house rabbit. (does it mean they wouldn't necessarily need a cage inside?

 I have a a dutch rabbit who is a sweetie!!! I fell in love with a carmel colored mini lop yesterday at the pet store!!! That I am begging to get!!! i would recomened if this is your first rabbit to  get a dutch or a himmalayan. I have had my dutch for a year and she had babies september 23rd!!! they are 8 weeks old today:()

mini lopslive up to 10 years with proper cared and they weigh about 7 pounds but i would keep mine at 5 pounds. so she does not look fat:)

I have to mini lops that live outside its pretty messy under there cage i have to clean under it every 2 to 3 months, and it does smell sometimes.If you want one to live for a long time inside is better,but ive had one flopped ear that lived for 4 to 5 years outside.If you put it outside make a good cage wood on each side and top.Make a front to close at night for the winner and a bottom to put up as well to keep animals from trying to get them and tearing the bottom of the cage thats what we have done to our 3 cages it keeps them safe and warm.For the winner put hay in there cages for warmth if you do that then it should be fine,and they are wonderful rabbits sweet and just go cute to cuddle up toooooooooooooooo.
