How big is 1 square in The Sims 2?

Question

When building in the sims 2 (pc version). How big is one square?

if my sim house is 10 squares by 15 squares. How big is that house? Each square must be bigger than 1 foot but i can't seem to find what it is. Thanks

I think each square is somewhere between 18" or 24"

If you are re-creating your real life house, don't worry so much about the measurements of the house, but more on the placement of objects.  When I created my real life house in Sims2 I started with the kitchen, the counters were great for sizing that room, and then worked out from there.  It might be helpful for you to sketch out the floor plan on graph paper first.

Why do you need to know? My guess is that it is about a 5 square foot box. It's really hard to tell though...
