  1. i have a 4GB but i would say it can hold up to 300 songs at lest a couple pictures, but the phone is gonna run kinda slow

  2. This is important as you will likely consider upgrading the memory card that shipped with your music phone (e.g. a 128-Megabyte card) with one that can store nearly 16 times as many tunes (e.g. a 2-Gigabyte card).

This can get confusing if you consider all the different compression technologies – such as MP3, WMA, AAC, and so on – and the different bit rate you can choose when ripping your music CDs (the higher the number, the better the quality, but the bigger the file).

But to keep this simple, this following chart illustrates how many 4-minute MP3 songs can fit on a memory card, encoded at 128 kbps (pretty good quality, but not on par as CD). Or, if you prefer, how many hours of music you can expect.

    Size of memory card:  256MB   512MB   1GB     2GB

    Number of songs:          58        120        243      488

    Hours of music:               4          8         16        32

  3. 2gb is enough for many  mobile users.

depend on your music listening and picture taking habit

If you take picutures at very high resolution and evevryday you take at least 50 pictures and save it on the phone, you will have to opt for bigger memory card then.

and for the song, if you want to move the whole song library with you

    2gb is not enough.

But if you are a normal mobile user, 2gb memory card is more than enough in my opinion
