The funny thing is i caught a 2 and a half pound Channel and beleve it or not this sucker was a foot and 3 inches!

Catfish are like people, some are tall (long) some are fat, some are skinny.  I have about 600,000 in my care right now, since I am a catfish farmer.  The no one measurement, I've seen 2lb one that we just over a foot, and I've also seen 2 LB ones that were nearly 2 foot long, it just depends on how much the are "fattened up". If I had to pick an average I would say 20-22"
