  1. I have lived in Australia, and my clothes size is S size in Japan.

So I think that I can give some advice to you.

I could'nt find any clothes fit me in Australia, so S size in Japan would be XXS or 2-4 (actually no that size) in Australia. The smallest lady size in Australia is 6 or 8, I remember.

To conclude, I think that S size clothes are equal to XXS in Australian or America.

  2. We have LandsEnd here in Japan, and when I order a Large from the Japanese catalogue they send me a shirt with an English tag marked M.  So I would imagine a Small here would be an American XS or a bit smaller.

  3. a S is pretty much a XS in America.  Maybe a teensy bit bigger.

But I'm sure they'll let you try on the clothes.  ^^
