how big is a g23 lip piercing just asking cause ima bout to get one but i want to know first how big is the g23?

well a normal earring is a 18g. And then the next biggest is 16g. Most are pierced at a 16g or 14g. But I've done as small as 18g, and as big as zero. The smallest ring they make is 21g.

For a start gauge goes in even numbers. 23 would be like .7mm Which would probably cut through your skin like cheesewire as soon as you smiled if it was new..

You want like 16g at the least.

g23 titanium is probably referring to the type of jewelry material. So they're letting you know what your jewelry is made out of. Jewelry can be made out of many things like surgical stainless steel, titanium, niobium, and others. Many of these materials come in different grades, so you have to keep an eye out for quality and suitability as body jewelry.

The piercing itself would be done with a 16 or 14g piece unless you requested something else and had good reason.

Be sure to ask your piercer questions about ANYTHING you don't understand durring the piercing process. The only stupid question is the one you don't ask. So don't let anyone poke a hole in you until you know what's going into it and how to care for it.

they dont ever pierce with a 23 g lip ring....thats like unheard of...

its the size of an earring..

they use 14 or 16 g...

thats the complete normal size.

if youre about to get it done professionally...hense the name professional,

they know what theyre doing.
