How big is a regular packet of yeast?

I have a 1-pound package but that seems like way too much...

one regular package is equal to 2 1/4 tsp.

I buy it in the larger jar and that's what it says on the back.

Regular packet is about 1 oz.  Yes, you have way too much yeast at the moment.

Put it in the refridgerator, you should be able to use it longer.  Yes, the previous answers are correct.  I'd be more interested in if it is still "good" or not.  Here's a test to see if it is still "active":
