How big is the UT3 PC community?

Im thinking of buying the game, but I am curious on how many westcoast servers are available? I don't wanna but the game only to find out there is very limited number of westcoast servers available.

And.. ping does matter so don't tell me to play on an NYC server.

There are only 106 players online in the whole U.S. right now.  To me, the game is dead.
