  1. There is not such a minority in Greece

    for two reasons

•there is not such an ethnicity named "Macedonian"

•even if we know what you mean->the Slavic neighbours where they were self-called bulgarians 100 years ago,and now they want to be called "Macedonians"

Well, the Slavophone population in Greece (Slavophone consists Bulgarians,Serbians and Fyromians) is estimated to be 30.000(to be accurate from 10.000 to 30.000)

SO ,in a population of 11 million, you know that the number is tiny to consist a minority....

After all look at their party,Ouranio tokso, where only took 3000 votes.....

Well I think is a clear answer about "how large" is the Fyromian minority

Linktothepast83:::::Chalkidiki?I have lived there for 8.5  years!!!Haven't met any Fyromian either .lol!

partila c:this is your manners, this is your behaviour...well done,we thought that you could be humans

  2. There is not such thing... Vasiliki's answer is just PERFECT!

  3. There are people who live in various areas in Macedonia and who speak both Greek and a slavic dialect. THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT A MINORITY. The vast majority of them self-identifies as Greek Macedonian. "Greek" denotes their ethnicity and "Macedonian" their local origins, just like I will answer "I'm Greek" when asked about my ethnicity and "Peloponnesian" or "Thracian" when asked which area of Greece I come from.

It is true that there are a few among them who do not self-identify as Greek. These people are very few, they participate or are connected with the party Ouranio Toxo (which gets most of its few votes from areas outside Macedonia anyway) and are well-known to the locals in Macedonian villages who for the most part dismiss them as trouble-makers (for example, they try to spoil the feasts in the 20th of July every year, they have tried it before but without any results, of course). By pushing their "opressed macedonian minority" agenda they're usually trying to promote their own personal interests. Interests of an economic nature I mean.

Go to Edessa, to Florina, to Aridaia, to Castoria and ask the bilingual locals whether they consider themselves a minority. Most of them will get offended and tell you off for calling them a "minority in their own country".

If you want more information, just tell us.

About the Ouranio Toxo party and the votes it gets.

ADDED: Partillac (lol) shows his low level... It was about time Partillac, it was obvious by your other questions that you couldn't control yourself for too long... ;)  Go on, make us laugh!

ADDED: Dan g, thanks for remembering to write about Stoidis and Katsoris (lol). These people seem to have so much trouble deciding what they are, "opressed Macedonians" or "opressed Bulgarians"? Much like some of the politicians in FYROM...

ADDED: Allan d, you and your alias know a lot about trolling, don't you? :)

  4. There isn't any macedonian minority. I was born and raised in Macedonia, with very old roots in the region of Chalkidiki, and it is at least rude to call me a minority in my own country.

If you mean how many Fyromian minority (fake wannabe Macedonians, Slavs with an inferiority complex syndrome) there are, i haven't met a single one in my entire life living in Saloniki and Katerini, but according to estimates there are about 10.000 living near the borders.

Edit: Vasiliki i am from a village in Chalkidiki, but i haven't lived there due to my parents work. I lived in Katerini 18 years and i currently live in Saloniki for the last 6 years where i studied. Nevertheless i haven't met any Fyromian in my whole life in Macedonia. And clearly i haven't known another country's people that they are so much delusional as they are from their claims. It's like a social psychopathy or something, in the largest scale possible.

2nd edit: Ti sto kalo Oo? Mporei kaneis na mou eksigisei giati o Starsky me ton Partilacc vrizontai se auto to thread gia na katalavo kai ego?

  5. there is not macedonian minority because there is not macedonian nation. also macedonians are greeks so it can not be a macedonian(greek) minority in greece.
