  1. Very Big!  11 sites, 432 holes.  Most of the sites have 2-3 courses on them.  Here's a link to the details of each course.

  2. 18 Holes with the 19th being the pit stop.

  3. dunno

  4. Alabama has RTJ golf trail which consists of 11 golf locations.  Most locations have 36 holes of championship golf, plus 18 holes more of what they call "short course" which is a couse of 18 par threes.  I have visited 8 or 9 of these locations and they are all terrific - usually 5 sets of tees for different skill levels and all wonderfully designed.  The "short courses" are fully designed, not just an afterthought.  Multiple tees, elevation changes, huge greens with undulations, bunkers and water.  You stand on the tee of just about anyone of them and say "I wouldn't mind having this hole on my home course".  When we visit we usually play a full course in the morning, have lunch and then play a short course in the afternoon.  Great for practice, if you want to work on your long irons, just hit off the back tees which will all be 220 to 180 yards.  Want to work on your wedges move up to the forward tees, or anything in between.  Just search Robert Trent Jones Alabama Golf Trail on the web, at their site you can view scorecards for all their courses.

  5. Which one?

  6. around 8000 yards i believe

  7. The one near I-20 is Silver Lakes and it is 27 holes. One 18 hole and one 9 hole. But the are several RTJ course in AL. To play the all is called the RTJ Trail.

  8. there are multiple rtj courses in alabama   but if you are asking about the newest one at ross bridge it is 8000 yards

  9. I'd like to know the answer to that one myself. I was driving down the interstate, heading East to Atlanta to see a Nascar race and it seemed that every time I looked over to the south side of the highway there was another segment of that golf course......lol. I figured it was a string of courses designed by the same person.
