  1. It stretches about 50,000 to 100,000 times earth's orbit into space. The final definitive boundry being the "heliopause", where the sun's wind meets the interstellar wind. This final edge is about 3 times the orbit of Pluto. From there out, the solar system is consisted of the "oort could objects", comets and other debries stretching for billions of miles into space, so far away the sun is just a speck of light.

    maybe a bit bigger if you cant the ort cloud as part of the solor system

    thats small compared to the universe but hey... if u traveled light speed for 4.5 billion years i guess u would have traveled pretty far by now... LOL
