How big is your waist ?

Apparently women have much bigger waists now than 20 years ago the average British woman whose shape is leaning more towards apple than hourglass.Her waist size has ballooned by four inches in the past 20 years to around 34in I cant believe this is true, I just measured my waist and its a fraction over 24" whats yours.

50 ! When my grandma got married in the late 1920`s she had a 19 inch waist !

This may be confusing to some... there are three key measurements to determine your waist size ...

1. your smallest measurement around your waist (where your natural "bend" is) *stand completely upright put your hands on your waist and bend side to side - this is the first measurement-  

2. where your belly button is (around your "commonly known waist")

3. and the largest measurement around your hips

add the three measurements together and divide by 3  this = your "natural" waist ....
