  1. The average jockey is about 5'2 and 110 pounds.  Shaq is 7'3 and about 330 pounds.  That's about 1.4 times the height but 3 times the weight.  The average thoroughbred is about 16 hands high (64") at the whithers so you need a horse about 23 hands high (92") but it would have to be 3 times the average weight of 1000 pounds or 3000 pounds.  So to get the same look and feel with Shaq on a horse that would be the size.  Now how that horse moved on the track is a different story.  Probably a slow plodder.  The same as Shaq running a foot race against Reggie Bush (Saints football).

  2. I dunno about being a jockey, but "Shaq" could be a harness race driver.  I've seen some, shall we say, chunky drivers in harness races.

  3. THE H E L L WITH THE HORSE SHAQ IS BIG ENOUGH TO DO WITHOUT ONE JUST LET THAT BIG ***** CRAWL AROUND ON ALL FOURS HE CAN BE HIS OWN HORSE HAHAHAHAHAHA

  4. A REALLY REALLY BIG ONE.

  5. A Clydesdale, Belgian Draft Horse or a Shire would be my guess.

  6. sanfran youre a donkeys behind... and I think that shaq is way too heavy to be a harness driver...in addition to weight you have to lean back to keep out of the wind, ive driven a harness horse and if you sit up straight its like being a human parachute...but I must admit there are a few round harness drivers...(check my photos Im at the old work track in sacramento working one for Lou Pena)

  7. 25 hands!!!

  8. Oh.......... about the size of an elephant. Hey I know we can start a new sport. Elephant Polo. It will be a hit.......... I think. lol

  9. THE WORLD'S TALLEST HORSE NAMED RADAR AT 27 HANDS HIGH!!!!!
