  1. it could be great for the sox because jason bay has good talent and is moderately young, and because the manny drama was just making the red sox not play well, on the other hand if he plays well for the dodgers, this could of been a horrible deal, i consider it a success for manny, the red sox, the dodgers, and the pirates

  2. Not a mistake at all. Manny wanted out and they got rid of him.  They did both parties a favor.  Jason Bay isn't a chump either.  Manny is obviously the better hitter but Bay is a much better all around player than Manny.  Dodgers get aging another player with a bloated contract and the Pirates continue to have to get rid of their stars when they peak for young prospects.  No surprises here and I think this will be a temporary winner for all.

  3. I am a die hard red sox fan and I will say it wasn't a mistake.  He gave up on his team in the end.  He was acting like a child which was uncalled for.  He got what he wanted so good for him.  I will miss him but I will not miss the way he was acting these past 2 weeks.

  4. It may not of been a mistake at all. They were not playing good lately anyways, and there is a thing called addition by subtraction in sports. See this years Mets getting rid of Randolph to understand what I mean.

  5. it wasn't a mistake. he had to go, they just gave up a lot. They shouldn't have waited untill the last minute, and they definatley should have gotten some pittching (relief)

  6. im happy cuz i went to the last game and im gonna sell the ticket on ebay now! if any1 here wants to buy it email me at joeymo23@gmail.com

  7. It wasnt a mistake. They Red Sox got a good prospect for Manny. The guy I predicted they would trade him for a week ago. Jason Bay. Plus it was the last day for the Red Sox to make a trade and they had to do something. Manny didnt want to play in Boston. He basicly said it out loud. Im not even a Red Sox fan, Im a Tiger fan, and I think it was a good trade for the Red Sox, but it was a good deal for the Dodgers.
