  1. you should have at the very least a 12x14 room.if i am on target,a pool table is 8ft in length and31/2ft in width.a cue stick is 41/2ft long on average, and most players grip the stick one to two ft.from the butt end.that should provide adequate room on each of four sides.hope this helps you. ken

  2. This website has a chart that tells you everything you need to know.

The length of cue you use makes a big difference. My cue is 60 inches in length, so the table has to be alittle farther away from the wall then the standard 58 inch cue.

  3. You just add 10 feet to the dimensions of the pool table. For example, If your table is 4' x 8' then your room would have to be 14' x 18' . This gives you 5 feet of room all the way around the table. That is enough room to shoot any shot with a standard size pool cue , 58". Of course these are minimum measurements. For more comfort you will need an even larger room. By the way most bar tables in America are 3 1/2 x 7 feet.

  4. 20x25

  5. 16x20 min.

  6. Depend on the size of the table, generally everyone say add another 5 or 6 ft from the edge of the table to the wall but i think more as u dont want to be left with just enough room for the table and no other room for spectating. To be comfortable i would give it about 7 - 10 ft of room.

  7. 4ft around all the rails. Most tables are 3x7or 4x8 some 5x9 and I´m not exactly sure but I think snooker tables are 5x10 I suggest the 4x8 thats whats in most bars in America.

  8. You want a minimum space of 3 feet from the outside edge of the table to the wall. Even then shots played from that cushion will be tight. 5 foot is probably ideal.
