  1. Big. They can easily grow to 6 to 10 feet long in their first year. I hope you are prepared for two big snakes. Most people aren't unfortunately, and that's why more and more laws are being passed against big snakes, because of irresponsible keepers. They should be housed separately. Burmese pythons are very solitary. A 55 gallon might work for a year, but I prefer a 4 foot x 2 foot cage for the first year. After that I move mine into 6 foot x 3 foot cages.

  2. well get the tank that it can live in its hole life but a tank will not work short of 15,000gal get a cage go on kingsnake.com

dubble the snake is gerth in tall and hf the snkes lth

  3. turn over a room to them...i'm not being sarcastic...burms can grow to 20+ foot for female and 16+ foot for male.  two wont fit together in any cage unless it is custom built...a cage for 2 would need to be 8 foot by 8 foot or so.

  4. get 2 45gallon tanks

  5. You should really have 2 seperate cages for those snakes. Burms are solitary animals, and do not like to live with other snakes, even if it is another burm.

Besides Burms not liking to live with other snakes, there are other reasons to keep them seperate. If one regurges, you won't know which one did; you won't know which one to not feed for 10 days. If one has runny stools, you won't know which one did it; which one may be sick. If one gets parasites or mites, the other will too. It can be expensive to treat parasites, and it is very time consuming and difficult to kill mites. There is also the possibility of cannabalism, agression, and if it is a male&female, breeding while the female is still too small to handle becoming gravid. It is very stressful&dangerous to the snakes to be housed together.

Depending on the size of the burms, they should each get their own aquarium, about 55 gallons if they are babies; larger if they are bigger. When they are adult, you should build their enclosures, it will be much cheaper.

I reccomend you visit this site http://constrictors.com/forums/forumdisp...

      for Burm information&adivce.

    Good Luck!

  6. For two? Probably a whole room. Seriously. They get really big.

  7. lorimartow is full of it. males dont get over 16 feet and 20 foot females is so rare its almost unheard of. keep separate in 2 giant aquariums for now

  8. i suggest you make these there so much better

  9. Just get a tank big enough for one, then you'll be all set for after the cannibalism.

  10. You should really have 2 seperate cages for those snakes.

  11. 3 foot tank

  12. if you plan on keeping them for a long time you shouldnt worry about tanks

In the future youll need to think about separate rooms.

  13. try 30 - 40 gallon

  14. well if you persist on haveing just one tank. then a big one!, they need room to grow and they can be teritorial. =) hope this could help!

  15. they need to be seperate they're solitary animals and also you need a least a 50 for a baby because it will last a year or 2 maybe 3 but unlikely it will last that long.

  16. You'll need two seperate cages for two snakes. They get pretty big, so I'd say... 100 gallon aquarium?
