  1. The hutch will need at least two compartments – one of these should be the ‘bedroom’ which should be private so your rabbits feel safe. The other part is where the food and water should go. The hutch will need to be big enough for your rabbits to stand up on their hind legs, stretch out and comfortably move around. As a general rule the hutch should be at least 4 times the length of the full grown rabbits when stretched out and high enough to allow the rabbits to stand on their hind legs without their ears touching the roof. The longer the time periods that the rabbits are to be in the hutch or the more rabbits to be kept together, the larger the hutch should be.

  2. Depends how big the rabbit is but at the smallest i would say 1 metre by 1 metre :D I'm not v. good at answering q but i hope i helped :D

  3. Rabbit sized.

  4. well really the big it is the better, no matter the size of the rabbit, as long as it has room to run in all directions, i'm sure its fine.

  5. the best way to get a good size run is to make one your self using chicken wire and poles. it should be big enough for your rabbit to, you know, run! so i reckon at least 2m x 2m.

  6. All depends on the type of rabbit you have.  For general advice have a look at:

  7. As big as possible for them to not only run but to stretch up high and jump around.  Like all animals and humans, they need the freedom to use their body as much as possible.

Mine is 4ft high and 6ft long, 4ft wide accessible from the hutch with a ramp.  Made using 4x2 frame and strong square mesh wire.  Tip: fold over the ends of the wire before tacking into place to strengthen it.  Also, remember not to use wood treatment on areas where your bunny will chew.  It will also need some sort of shaded area from the sun and rain.

  8. aleast double the size of its home for each rabbit you own.  stephanie .
