How big should peaches and cream sweetcorn cobs be before i pick them? I live in Missouri ,already have ears on them , but how big should they be? For Peaches and Cream

I have been putting peaches and cream corn in the freezer  for a few days now and the corn that i have ranges from 5 inches to 9-10 inches. and Corn is best if picked when the Silks are starting to turn brown. It can be picked before then but the ears will be smaller. I'm not sure why you only have ears growing on the bottom of the stalk though. I haven't ever really payed attention to my aunts garden to tell if hers only grows on the bottom  or not...

  2. You should pick any sweet corn when the silk from the top of the ear is turned dark brown, also pick in the morning or evening when it is cool.
