How big ur hands have to be?

Mine hands measure 8.15 inches but I can't palm a BB, i saw a few girls whose hands measure only 7 inches but they can????

why?????

Besides strength, there is also the factor of the amount of friction of your fingers against the ball, which can be affected by how sweaty or dry your hands are and how dirty the ball is.

Maybe they were using an official womans ball, while you were using the official NBA sized ball?  I'm also unable to palm most basketballs, but there is one brand I was able to palm without a problem, it's grooves and grip were great (might have actually been that synthetic ball the NBA tried to use earlier this year).  So essentially it's a combination of factors, but bigger hands are helpful.

It doesn`t matter really what size hands you have is how much power you put into serving and spiking
