I believe it was the size of the biggest mountain on earth.

my young daughter said the t-rex,..., and egg eaters were too may so they ate all their food up and all the smaller they could catch and then each other so their strength caused them to starve.

i wasn't there so maybe that is possible or the ice age, i think the theory today is they evolved to birds though.
