How big will my hamster get?

I just bought a hamster a few days ago. I had done all the research, and the only hamster available was a "Fancy Hamster". Is this the same as a Syrian hamster? If not, how big do fancy hamsters grow?

theyre just the same size but fancy hammys have longer hair.

Yes Fancy Hamsters are the same as Syrian hamsters. If u don't believe me try looking it up on ask.com.

they're the same and they can grow up to 8 inches.
