Our two little sister-pups are mutts of unknown origin (mom was a small Lab; dad unknown, but we think maybe Feist).

They are 5 months old.

This one currently weighs 17lb: http://flickr.com/photos/rybochka/2771125491/sizes/l/in/set-72157606074398395/

This one currently weighs 23lb: http://flickr.com/photos/rybochka/2771965332/sizes/l/in/set-72157606074398395/

How big do you estimate they'll be when full grown? Thanks!

(Yea, I'm a little puppy-oriented these days. ^_^)

  1. I would guess they would grow to be anywhere between 15 and 20 inches

  2. they shouldn't even double in size at this age maybe the 17 pound might get 25 and the 23 pound might get 35 pounds

  3. i think they will both get big enough like a medium lab but with thiner chest and all...around 25 kg...don't know in lb!

  4. Hi there,

it looks like the dad had some Australian cattle dog or Heeler in him, considering the spots and the ears on the puppies.  If the mom was around 55-60 pounds, it would seem that the dad was a little smaller...but because they have Lab in them, they may thicken up considerably around 2 years of age.  Given that they are 5 months old now, I would estimate their full-grown weight to be 35-45 pounds if they have a slim body-build, and maybe 50-55 pounds if they take after the Lab side.  My dog (she's full-grown) weighed 33 pounds at 5 months of age; she now weighs right around 50 pounds, but she has a pretty light, lean build.

    Enjoy your puppies!

  5. Aw, they're really adorable. The 17 pound one looks like it could have German Shepherd, but I'm not sure what the other one looks like it could have. Their dad was probably a well mixed in mutt.

I'd guess 40-60 pounds, but I'm not sure.
