ok haha funny question...kind of ... anyways i just started playing golf about 2 years ago and before that i saw others playing it and i watched it and its like hmm there is absolutely no point but hit the white ball with a stick and get it in the hole..lol..but then i started playing it and got good at it and it is actually very fun and entertaining. I meet a whole bunch of new people through golf.. Basically i meet about 10 new people every tournament that i go to because it is different places in different states and different cities lol..so it is actually quite fun   :)

It's just like anything you don't understand, if you were to watch skydiving it would look pretty boring, but the guy with the parachute on his heart is beating out of his chest. Golf is appreciated around the world and many of us know what we are watching so it is interesting, not like football but interesting all the same.

It's boring if you're not into it. Every Wednesday I get out early from work to play in par 3's golf course and on weekends I go to play par 5's golf course and twice in  driving range to practice. That's how I love playing golf.

I'm guessing that you've never played before.  I thought golf was boring too until I started playing it last year.  I've enjoyed playing it and, after playing, I've begun watching golf on television.  I guess I've developed an appreciation for the game and for what the professionals can do.

Its pretty boring alright.  I used to be an avid player, but have lost interest due to the game's high cost and snooty players.  It takes a lot of time to be good and I'd rather bike and fish with my spare time.

You'd have to try it before you came to any conclusion about boring...

Some people just do not have the patience for golf... its a very frustrating sport, even for the seasoned veteran...

It's extremely boring if you're not into it.  If you're into the game though, it's quite exciting and a great challenge.  Nothing like making your first Par or Birdie ... or draining a 45 footer, or chipping in from a green side bunker.  It's not for everybody, but if it's for you, you'll love it!

guess what? its not that boring at all if you haven't got out there and try it yourself. the pros make it look way too darn easy the way they strike the ball and make 20ft putts.

I went to AT&T tournament and wow! they make it seem its nothing to it. but when I pick up a club and try to repeat what I saw at the tournament. its not as easy nor boring as it seem.
