Yes, they played well, the kangas.  got my tipping off to a good start, finished with 6 in a tough round,   got lucky with the tigers, swans, both had close wins.

As much i never mind the pies losing i was sort of hoping they'd win so the kangas don't get too far in front of us on the ladder, st.kilda won as well which is real good for the tigers,  but the Roos are a good honest footy side, you always know you will get their best.

I will watch all the games that Collingwood lose. If they are winning, or look like winning, I change channels because it spoils my day to see them win.

I just revel in seeing Mick Malthouse whinging about something; the Pies supporters abusing the umpires; & their feral-female supporters carrying on as usual.....

I'm disappointed with the Pies, we could have still been in top four contention and cemented a place in the finals. Not taking anything away from the Roos though, they played a great game and deserved the win. Collingwood's disposals were just horrendous!

Do you think North Melbourne had extra motivation to beat Collingwood because North were forced to wear their away strip even though it was their home game. Maybe Eddie "Not so everywhere anymore " is doing his team a disservice by being so stubborn about their jumper. How do Collingwood get away with it when  every other team has to have an away strip.

Yes it was a brilliant effort by North and winning in the ruck was crucial for them .   It really amazes me though, that Collingwood remain so competitive with so many seasoned players "unavailable" through injury.   Without Buckley and Clement, capt , v-capt, retired from last year, and now missing Davis, Rusling, Lonie, Holland, Egan, Reid, Rocca, Fraser, d**k, and Prestigiacomo all injured, you have to agree Malthouse and his assitants have done a great job to a least  keep the club in finals contention,and without rating  mention in the media.  Collinwood's performance this year, is especially credible  considering West Coast have fallin to the bottom, without Cousins and Judd, and obviously are just simply after draft picks, while the Pies continue to perform for their army of loyal fans .

Yeah, as a Swans supporter I was actually barracking for North in that game as Collingwood were only 2 points behind us on the ladder.

I was very impressed with the Roos team.  I wish the Swans had high marking players all around the ground.  North played a very disciplined game and looked so talented.  They look a class act but can they keep this up cause if they can watch out everybody.

that is 1 of the things that i love about our great game nearly any team can beat any team if the lease likely team brings it good game and the favourite team bring a bad game ,well sadly as a pies supporter that what happens... it was a good win for the roos .they are always a team that does not understand about giving up...at the start of season proper ,i tipped the pies to be no higher than 6th and thought they would go no lower than 10th

Great to see the Roos in such great form and a joy to watch the likes of Harvey, Campbell and Thomas.

Just exciting footy and I particularly enjoyed watching the Roo's get over the team everyone loves to hate, the Colliwobbles!! (They certainly wobbled on Friday Night!)
