Question:

How bright are LED replacement lights?

I see LIDL will shortly be selling bulbs like these..

They say they use 0.9w and each 'bulb' has a cluster of 18 LEDs.

At the moment I have eight regular (20w each) halogen lights on a couple of rails in our kitchen.

Would the LED ones from LIDL be acceptable - I mean would they be bright enough?

  3. I burned a hole in a window with a few LED's once... Them things are explosive!

  4. from my experience led bulbs are not bright enough, have seen them used a couple of times but they are no were near as bright as the halogens.
