  1. are you for real with that question?  The Brits are known for eating everything salty, deep fried and the best tasting Indian food are found in London.  Any Londoner will call you ignorant

  2. Think French, speak English, and eat Spanish!

  3. I don't know about the British, but I HATE spices!  It used to drive me nuts when I could smell my Indian friend's cooking.

I can't stand curry of any kind.  I don't eat pickles,  mustard, ketchup, relish, peppers.  A tiny amount of garlic is ok once in a while.

I think my food is flavorful, that spice is overkill.  Meat, bread, fruits, veggies all have their own flavor.  Milk has a flavor.

  4. They have as many International Restaurants as any where.

Tourists alone don't keep them in business.

  5. cause there jokers

  6. They been living like that their hole lives. So they get use to it.

  7. Northern cultures in general seem to avoid spicy foods, though the British seem to be the worst. I suspect the blandness of their traditional cuisine is a reflection of the limited ingredients that were available. Anyhow, once they conquered India, many Brits seem to have developed a taste for curry. In London, it should be no problem finding Indian or Continental restaurants.

As for healthy, a good deal of the traditional cuisine, and too often the hotel breakfast, seems to consist of things cooked in a surfeit of insufficiently heated grease.

  8. It's because they think it tastes good.  Britian is also a small nation with over 100.million people. The do not the kinds of funds required to unhealthy living. How ever you can  now find McDonalds,  and other fast foods there which are plenty fat enough for you.

If you continue to eat fat, unhealthy foods than someday soem one close to you will say at your  funeral. How could she eat all of that fat, spicy, sweet, and salty foods just for the taste, and ruien her health.

  9. British people can't keep eating tasteless, non-spicy food! We have food from all over the world. Favourite restaurants in most of the country are Indian or Chinese, and British Indians have developed dozens of spicy dishes in this country. It's a regular event for people to go out and get drunk then eat the spiciest food they can find!

Even traditional British dishes have large amounts of flavour - for example, fish and chips, is cooked in oil and comes with spicy and flavourful sauces such as vinegar, brown sauce

( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_sauce ), gravy and ketchup. All of that with simple potatoes!

Other british dishes that are not really known outside the country are full of flavour.

The last few meals I ate were Thai, Chinese, Italian (with spicy sausage) etc. British chefs constantly experiment with new ingredients and recipes, we have some of the finest chefs in the world. To be honest, the most imaginative food I've eaten in the world has been in this country. Just because you throw chillies into all your food doesn't make it full of flavour.

  10. Um-I'm American and when we first got here I couldn't believe the Full English breakfast-it's not to my taste but it sure doesn't lack in fat, flavor, or anything else. We have every fast food, junk food, fad here as you do everywhere else. Mcdonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut etc,. and the Brits are mad for curries and take aways-we have a great fish & chip shop around the corner. Today I had a wonderful Cornish Pasty in Sandringham-it was fab!!! You must be going to the wrong places to eat
