How busy is Disneyland the 1st Monday after Thanksgiving? Does Disneyland have there holiday decor up by 12/1

It will be crowded, but not as crowded.  Thanksgiving is from Thursday to Sunday, so many will have gone home.

The holiday decoration is put up in November, and It's a Small World is reopening in November with it's Christmas decoration (It's been closed since February).  The Disneyland snow also will fall by then.

It shouldn't be too crowded since most kids here in California are back in school and the Christmas decorations should be all up or almost all up by then.  Go to the Haunted Mansion and see it decorated for the Nightmare Before Christmas.  It's great.

Normally the weekend of a major holiday (7/04, Presidents', Thanksgiving, etc.), DL is packed with families, and most will extend the weekend into the Monday following.  That being said, I was at DL this Sunday, the 4th of July weekend, and it was not busy at all. The longest wait I had was actually in DCA for Midway Mania and that was 30 minutes. If the economy and the price of gas remain the same, I'd expect the same type of crowd for Thanksgiving.

As for the holiday decorations, the castmembers start setting up the night after Thanksgiving, so almost everything will be up by Monday. Only It's A Small World will not be ready on that date.

That is Disney World's busiest month -and they start to put up decorations the day after thanksgiving, but I'm not sure about Disneyland - probably the same.

it should not be to crowded this year.  We were expecting over 60k for fourth of july and we were at 40 k I believe, and way to overstaffed.  The economy is making it kinda slow.
