How ca i record my tv with out geting those lines across it.?

so me and my brother are trying to make a movie with video game footage but we keep getting these drak or lighter lines across the screen how can we change the video to get rid of that or get rid of that in the begining

if the game can be shown on an ordinary TV, then the video can be recorded directly on a VCR or computer video capture tivo style. If the TV set needs to be part of the scene, then use an editing program to substitute the directly recorded video, compressed to fit the location where the TV is, like the over-the-shoulder graphics used on the evening news.

you can tape a video of a LCD monitor on a computer screen, but the other type of screen on the old style monitor, you can not, it will have the lines.

You may also try to adjust the horizontal setting on the TV and maybe that may slow the lines down?  Its the one that can make the lines appear visible without a camera to the human eye.
