  1. Don't breath through your nose when you sing. Sing through your mouth.

  2. You need to raise your soft palate. That's the little flap in the back of your throat above your mouth that separates your mouth and nose. When it's raised it makes it so that the air can't go up into your nose and eliminates the nasaly sound. Some ways to raise your soft palate are to yawn, take a big breath through your mouth (make sure you aren't also breathing through your nose when you do this), or to pretend you're taking a big bite out of an apple.

  3. I would recommend watching this video,

    it helped me a TON.

That guy is seriously a genius.

  4. practice singing while holding your nose for a while, then try singing normally again.

its something you have to train to fix.

  5. GREAT QUESTION! When ever you take in air, force the air in (your mouth), down (your thoat and body) and out (making your stomach go out)! It kinda feels like you are pushing down a brick in your stomach! You should go to a mirror and try it. If your shoulders are moving up and down, you are doing it wrong. Your stomach should be moving. And if you are tesing yourself, just pinch your nose while you sing to see if you are doing it right also! Hope that helps!
