Check with breeders and see if they will let you buy on contract.Times being what they are alot of breeders are thinning out their stock. There are also auctions but you want to be careful as I have heard of people who have been badly hurt by buying a drugged up horse that way.

Priorities must first be put in order. What is the budget for up keep and maintenance of the purchase. Once established, then it must be considered how much riding and how often or on what chedule.

Breeders and trainers will cull less than perfect and other than show quality performace arabians.  Locate farms or training centers near where you live.

Again, make certain the upkeep is affordable.
