Not at work, I am a welder at a very redneck company. Not at the rifle range I shoot at. I'm not a strong Obama supporter, but I have no use for McCain. I know dozens of registered Republicans, myself included, that just can't stand McCain. Why is there such a vocal minority here and on AM radio? Does it scare you that the other 80% of us think you are totally WRONG?

  1. I don't know where you live, but there are many McCain supporters around me! If you are indeed a republican (which I doubt) you will support McCain too.

  2. Find independent polls and only trust the info you know, I can't tell what the heck is going on in this election the media is spinning things too much.  The truth is invisible with the media there to make it disappear.  Do real research, it's scarier than campfire stories.

  3. Enjoy the rifle range, once the new Obama gun laws are enacted you can turn them in.How you can call yourself a real republican, yet vote for a candidate that wants to raise taxes and give away as many freebies as he can.Makes no sense.

  4. Maybe they're closet conservatives

    What is wrong with McCain

    correct my grammar

  5. because he and embaresscment to the republican party much the same as the rest of the republican candiates.

  6. I am a McCain supporter, and can't find any Obama supporters.  That is probably because I work all day, and I only talk to people who work all day and raise families.  People I know are scared s**+@less that Obama may win.

  7. I guess they all live by me.  EVERYONE around my area supports McCain, and they are very vocal about it.  However, their reasons for wanting McCain range from Obama is black, Obama is Socialist, and Obama is too inexperienced.  No one tells me why McCain is a good choice, just why Obama is a bad one.

How am I getting thumbs down for this?  It's not an opinion. I'm not saying that  all McCain supporters have nothing good to say about him, just the ones around my area.

  8. What 80% are you talking about?  You say you're not an Obama supporter, so your question is a bit confusing.  Besides, Obama and McCain are about neck-and-neck right now, according to the polls.

A lot of conservatives don't find McCain conservative enough for their taste.

  9. No, your stats are wrong hon. Maybe you're hanging out with the wrong crowd. I work at a law firm in CA and I have found plenty of McCain supporters at work. I think you are actually a rabid lib, Obama supporter making c**p up.

  10. I know two! But they aren't what you'd call all that smart, mind you.

  11. you just need to make new friends

  12. They are ashamed to come out publicly

  13. You do not live up to your handle.

  14. I meet all kinds of people at my job here in St. Louis, MO I didn't meet any McCain supporters yet either.  I take that back; I met one guy at work (only one) who said he votes Republican, but he didn't say for who.  Back during the primaries, I saw one black woman on the local news who voted for Mitt Romney, not McCain.  I only know of McCain supporters on Yahoo Answers and on right-wing conservative radio and a few on the news at the GOP rallies with a lot of empty seats.  I don't hear them stating why they support McCain, I only hear them bashing Obama.

Back in 2004, I met a few guys at work who gave me a lot of flack for being liberal.  We argued over whether or not to re-elect Bush.  In May 2005, one of those guys complained about Bush having a connection to the rising gas prices.  When I reminded him that he voted for him in November and I warned him about Bush, he gave me an evil look.  The GOP voters were wrong then and they'll be wrong again.

  15. Where did you get that 80% figure from?

Wow, get out of that bubble you are living in.

80%?  Obama has NEVER had that much support from America.  EVER.

Dude, get off the Kool-Aid and reevaluate Obama's speeches.  Try to find ONE thing that he has said that isn't recycled rhetoric.  I challenge you to find ONE thing that hasn't been said by another politician.  THAT is why you shouldn't put TOO much weight in speeches.  Take those away and see what is left.  Do you want what is left to be running our country?

  16. Almost Everybody likes Obama, but remember what a white voter told Jessie Jackson, on the election day :" I really wanted to vote for you...but I couldn't ".      Same will happen with Obama.

  17. They are either in the psych ward or in the nursing home.

  18. Who in their right minds, would want to admit to being a McCain supporter, we all know he is just like Bush.  We don't need 4 more years, of the last 8 years.  Obama rocks.

  19. "How can't you use good grammar?"

    ROFLMAO! Open mouth, insert foot!

  20. So, I"m wrong because you say so?

    Well.. I say you're wrong.

Both are opinions and not necessarily fact.

  21. It really just depends in what state you live in, who you work with, and even social class and finacial stability will have something to do with is. For example, at the country club i go to, almost everyone is for McCain. However, my friends at minimum wage all support Obama. By the way, I support Obama.

  22. You and I have the same problem. I live in a conservative part of Texas. Yet all I see are Obama signs. While at dinner, I overheard some people who looked very conservative saying that they will vote for Obama. They don't trust this Palin woman and think she is too unqualified to be VP. You would think living in a such a diverse red state, it will be easy to find McCain supporters.

  23. I live in the liberal Northeast, and have yet to meet one, either.

  24. They are too old to leave the house.
