How can America give China so much c**p for the Tibet occupancy, while they wiped out the Native Americans, and murdered them for land, and then complain about how China rules over Tibet with violent suppression? Now with the Iraq occupation, where our soldiers are heavily suppressing them.

  2. "How can America give China so much c**p for the Tibet occupancy, while they wiped out the Native Americans, and murdered them for land, and then complain about how China rules over Tibet with violent suppression?"

Because this is the 21st Century, and nations, like individuals, are expected to "mature" and stop acting like uncivilised sh*ts. And while America isn't exactly a stellar example of a nation that upholds human rights, China's government tends to cross moral boundaries in their attacks on others that are too much for even the Americans to stomach -- and that's saying something.

Look at it this way: in modern times, the only way America would be able to do something as evil as what China's doing in Tibet would be by conquering a nation as weak as Iceland or New Zealand.

Also, the war in Iraq sucks, but at least it got an evil dictator out of the way..... But the Dalai Lama? He's about as evil as Spongebob f**king Squarepants. Seriously.

Also China's behaviour about Tibet is something to be extremely worried about because of the way they ban journalists and camera crews and stuff. It's like the Chinese government is ashamed, trying to hide something.....  And Tibetan culture is extremely mystical and spiritual, which makes the Chinese leaders trigger-happy because they hate anyone having any kind of spiritual beliefs without their consent (look up "Falun Gong persecution" to get an example of what the Chinese leaders believe in doing to people whose beliefs aren't to their taste).

Let me put it all another way:

If an American soldier went into a home in an enemy nation, raped the wife in front of the husband, raped the 10 year old daughter in front of both, and then slit the family dog's throat and threw its dead body at the 6 month old baby boy, and then shot the whole family in the genitals, he'd probably be court-martialed. But if a Chinese soldier did that, he'd probably be rewarded. It sounds bad but it's the truth. :/

Also, to America's credit, the actual average number of enemy deaths and civilian casualties per year in their wars has decreased over the past few decades quite substantially! For example, Vietnam and Korea were much bloodier affairs than Iraq is! You should read about it for yourself just so you can see I'm right!

Finally, I think China's government has an obligation to be a shining example of virtue because it's THEIR country that came out with people like Lao Tzu and Confucius and Mencius and Mo Tzu and all those kinds of dudes. They should uphold that stuff fully, not try to modify it or f**k with it or ban it or whatever. Otherwise it's just all that heritage going to waste. And that's a f**king shame because China's the oldest country around today.

  3. What happened a hundred and fifty years ago really isn't relevant, and your analogy between Iraq and Tibet is not quite accurate, but I'll agree with you on that point.  However, I think if you'd done any study lately, you'd recognize that most Americans are unhappy with our government over Iraq.  China in Tibet should also be made aware of the world's displeasure, don't you think?  Or do you think that just because the US has been wrong before, and will be again, Americans have no right to speak their minds about other injustices?

  4. Tibetans are asking us for help. I, personally, have ignored them for all the reasons you just stated. Sometimes I wonder if I'm right to let the crimes of my ancestors (and the ancestors of my racial classification) keep me from acting on contemporary injustices, but... We have plenty of contemporary problems of our own, too.

  5. don't forget slavery, if you want to talk about human rights, the US is all about double talk, smoke screens and double standards,

  6. Didn't Confucius say: People who live in glass houses should not throw stones.

  7. maybe american politicans are too busy w/their own red tape they can't see and understand what is obvious.

  8. America is full of fundy theists, what do you expect?  Rational honesty and an ability to self-criticise?

  9. beautiful point brother!
