How can America launch a war on Terroism after funding the IRA for decades.

America funded the IRA for decades that planted countless bombs in London in terrorist attacks so do they have the right to launch a war on terrorism?? shouldnt they take a look at what they do at home first??

To my knowledge, we never did fund the IRA. It makes no sense to fight a proxy war against one of our biggest and closest allies (UK). I would like to see a credible source before I even think about believing that.

You may be confused with the Soviet-Afghan conflict of 1979. We funded the mujaheddin to fight a proxy war against out enemy (USSR).
